Now that Gio has managed to gather everyone together, it might be helpful to consider how we can translate all this potential into something more concrete. One possibility I think might be helpful is if we had a project tracker, with more or less common parameters, that would allow people to determine what was going on, where there were openings, and how they could get involved (if they so desired).
To demonstrate, I have included an example below, that of "Project X."
Name: Project X
FFF Contact Person: None
Genre: None
Synopsis: Nothing
Estimate shooting duration and dates: None
Crew Needs: None
Cast Needs: None
Location Needs: None
Equipment Needs: None
Prop Needs: None
While this template is hardly original or particularly impressive, and no doubt would require modification to suit specific requirements, it is one way to communicate to the rest of the group the status of your projects. As a whole we probably can solve most problems that come up in Guerrilla or Low Budget Film making, but we won't know how we can help if nobody tells us.
Ultimately the specific manner in which we choose to communicate the state of our projects isn't really that important. Rather, what does matter is that we have a place we can use to communicate our current or future projects, that we are able to inform others of opportunities to participate, and that we have another resource available to resolve difficulties.
